Unless you have been holed away somewhere remote and isolated for the last couple of months, you will be well aware of the excitement and expectation of the new VR album.
The release date for the UK is now officially June 11th and is entitled 'Libertad.' A snippet of the first song to be taken from Libertad called 'She Builds Quick Machines' can be heard via the Metal Hammer website and it sounds pretty good.
Alot has been said about the albums sound, yet nothing has been officially confirmed except that Scott Weiland is off the drugs for this one and that his vioice is better than ever. If the track on Metal Hammer is anything to go by then the rest of the album should be amazing, packed full of crunching guitar riffs, massive choruses and amazing solos.
And don't forget the gig!!
VR play one night at Hammersmith Apollo in London on June 5th and then on to Cardiff, Glasgow and Manchester. It's pretty pricey but after seeing them a couple of years back at Brixton Academy for the 'Contraband' tour, this is definitely a must!
